Just win baby!

That was what we needed today games coming thick and fast, getting over the line was what mattered. When you’re so much better it would be nice to have a cushion, to nit pick, still trying to score the perfect goal at times and picking the wrong final ball. Also didn’t think subs were great closers today, outside of Azon who ran so hard again but who cares, with other results we really needed that. Some dominant spells, we should have had 4 goals really.

Win on Sunday and we would have had a very good festive period and can rest and regroup. A point wouldn’t be the end of the world but we need to go there and win really to set us up for next few months. Others stumbling. I mentioned Watford a week ago to keep an eye on.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

Saw Watford highlights today on the golazo show; they look really good. Pace and power and goals. Albeit Brum looked absolutely woeful and waiting for their manager to be sacked.

Great couple of weeks.

Do we now have a chance of getting Hackney? Probably not but worth a go.

Truly impaired.

Nah why would they tbh. They know they can sell for big money in 5-6 months regardless.

Agree to a point but 20 games of 'just winning' will be rather nerve shredding.

Exactly this - supporting a team like Ipswich isn't supposed to be easy and stress free!

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Agree. It was all about the win. I thought first half we were going to wreck them but what should have been a two or three goal HT lead just didn’t happen. We are a bit in and out at times and Mondays demolition of Coventry has set the bar.

Sport being what it is and a very long season, you trouser the three points and move on. A good day, especially with results going for us.
