Other than Coventry losing, an absolutely awful set of results for us today.

Pointless worrying about other results. Just concentrate on winning our games and it won't matter.

If we don’t finish above both of those two teams we don’t deserve automatic promotion. I mean could you imagine finishing below that Millwall squad?

I think it’s Watford, Boro and maybe Wrexham in that order that are probably the main threats for us but we need to just better their second half of the seasons. We have them all to play once as well.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

Same as any previous year. Worry about our results only. Keep winning, which is easier said than done, then we will keep chasing and stay ahead. However we will still have some disappointing results in the games to come. Plenty of ups and downs to go

I dont think it is. We'll add quality to an already good squad. The second half of this season will see us step up.

I'm pretty certain that to a man (and woman) all board members would have prefered Boro, Preston and Millwall to have lost.

Coventry losing was probably the best of them as it keeps them creaking. The others? Bit of a shame, but there it is. It’s up to us to keep winning games and if we do that, we will be ok. Lots of games to play.

Don’t think halting some of the Bristol City momentum is a bad thing really.

Obviously but it's no big deal. Preston and Millwall wont be top 2 and I doubt Boro can keep it up too.

Biggest annoyance today was it was a bit chance to just wrap up an excellent festive season and get real momentum and then our first team could have had a rest next week anyway. Now we have to navigate another three game week with some travel affecting preparation for the Saturday games etc. Also means we will likely have less rest than our opponent at the end of that week. We’ve got the squad though.

2 games ago, a lot of people were predicting soton to finish above boro.

plenty of form swings to come, let's just win our games, carry on collecting 2 points a game and we should be fine.

wasn't a problem in previous promotion seasons, remember barnsley and coventry?

It was a shame we couldn't play today but at least the players can have a bit of a recharge.

If we take care of our results it doesn't matter what the others do!

I just said that’s the annoying part of if, the disruption less training days and travel. I also said we have the squad to be able to hopefully cope.

I had us winning quite comfortably today, so it would has been nice to keep the wins coming but we will have to go again in February or whenever.

I bet Ashton and KM are pissed.

i'd have much preferred preston to win than bristol city, would've been their 4th win in 5 and they may have the semenyo money to spend

Doesn't matter so much in January. We are focussing on top 2 anyway, let the rabble behind us and Cov or Boro scrabble for the other places.

Disagree. Puts Stoke 4 points behind us.. Norwich could’ve done us a favour today, and failed that simple task.

We’ll have another midweek game if we beat Blackpool, we have a game scheduled for 4th round weekend, at home to Hull, so that’ll be postponed

It's a disaster day for Coventry for sure. They will be getting nervous now. The more pressure on then, the better. Not sure how good Frankie is when the good results stop.

could be a benefit to let the players rest after a very busy period, today would have been on a leveller pitch, and was a potential banana skin.

there's been talk of philogene and davis struggling for fitness in recent games, and we may have hirst, szmod and new signings available for the rearranged date.

main downside for me is that azor could have got a yellow today and included the fa cup in the 2 match suspension (or is it competition-specific?)

If Szmodics is available for the rearranged game i would be very surprised. Logs off.
