Just checked online and it appears the last train leaves Fratton at 21.42

Is Fratton station near the ground as that sounds pretty tight for the end of the game to make the last train back, the next train is about 04.39

It's about as close to Fratton Park as Ipswich station is to Portman Road.

Last train to where? There's a later train than that to Waterloo if you're going to London, but you're not getting back to Ipswich that night. Hopefully the city centre Premier Inn will have fixed the boiler as I had a bloody cold shower Sunday morning.

There's a later train to Gatwick if you wanted to leave your car there, parking is plentiful.

If you're using the train to reduce (but not eliminate) driving, the Elizabeth Line will get you as far as Shenfield (and the big car park there).
