For all of this century and some of the last, TWTD has an excellent record of reporting things first, but also an excellent record of very seldom getting anything really wrong.
The balance between trying to bring news to fans but also holding off until new is sufficiently certain is a really really hard one to pull off, and TWTD is about as close to getting it right all the time as it's possible to be, in my view.
Phil would definitely never claim to be writing any gospels, but I'm very happy to blow his trumpet for him. |  | | |

That would definitely be a concern and I doubt we'd go there if that was the case.
The only explanation for not recalling CC would be that we have someone else lined up, and I'd assume we'd want them in the door before that clause lapses. As it stands CC is still our second best 10. | | | |
