Why bench Nunez a man in form and assist machine? Is it because Szmodics scored a tap in against a team that was already beaten? No way has he done enough to be starting as the number 10, we've seen enough times in the past he just doesn't work there it totally stunts our creativity and fluidity. Possibly not, but he looked very much sharper last time out than his previous two comeback games. I think he has a very strong mentality and understanding of the game at this level - calmness and ability to spot the moment to push and go - so if he's feeling >80% fit he's certainly an option to start. Unless there's any significant risk of course. |  |
