I'm very partial to leguminous vegetables myself. Whilst I have never tired of peas, I intend upon retirement to grow broad beans in the garden, the secret with them is to pick them and immediately plunge them into the pan. Some fine beans would also be lovely.

I have PTSD from being made to eat peas in my youth.
