IIRC correctly the agreed fee on Cajuste was quite low, in the region of £5m which is peanuts in the premier league.
Akpom a slightly different story, £7m wasn't it? He's done very little this season to justify that and while I doubt we'll lose sleep over it as we'll be in the premier league I do think its one where he might sign and go straight out (probably on loan) in the same summer. Someone at Championship level will pay a decent fee given his track record. |  | | |

I think we would keep Cajuste around if we are promoted. If things go right in the transfer window, he wouldn't be a starter by any means but he must surely be worth a place in the squad.
Akpom will be getting loaned out almost immediately. If we sell, you'd imagine we'd easily lose three or four million on him now - which albeit is peanuts to a PL team. | | | |

Cajuste was literally the only player in the current squad who when last played in the Premier League looked naturally at home - dare I say he looked even better in the PL.
We certainly wouldn’t be looking to offload him, he’d very much be part of the group I’m sure. |  | | |
