Tend to think that, like Szmodics, he was bought for the PL and games where we didn't have much possession. Whereas in games where we do then a quick winger, or a forward wanting to play on the shoulder, don’t really work. [Post edited 4 Feb 11:52]

Looked half decent in the prem when played, came back and looked rusty. Then we dropped £30m on two players that so far aren’t as good as him and Wes Burns [Post edited 3 Feb 21:53]

It reduces explosive power for starters, in addition a number of reports have shown that after such an injury performance drops over the next 1 to 2 year period (for around 70% of players).
Add to that, something like a 25% of re-rupture as well - so, as much as a physical issue, you then deal with the mental impact of such an injury - knowing the situation. | |

Not guaranteed at all that he will lose pace, two studies I have seen said full recovery to game time with no lose of performance of two years, other said less game time first year then back to full speed. They were football specific, poorer outcomes for NBA. | |

Kasey will come good when we actually remember he's still in the building. Difficult to impress anyone almost permanently sitting on the bench. 50 minutes playing time since December 29th and just started 8 games. Rather unlike WB who's started around 140, and knows KM's supposed system backwards and inside out. | | | |
