I’m now concerned he’ll miss a match in April due to the birth!

A nice curry a few days before the match should get her going. Joking aside hope she enjoys the miracle of birth. My wife had a few complications so it was was always going to be a n inducted birth. Seemed a bit odd having a birth at a prescribed time rather than pacing corridors for hours/days. My little girl will be 23 soon and has been introduced correctly to Town, despite her ex boyfriend taking her to a west brom game and buying her a shirt. I never forgive him despite him having a good taste in music (metal).
Current boyfriend is not into sport. Not sure if that's good or bad. I find men not into sport a bit unusual.

lol, your last bit

I hate it when you meet someone for the first time and you start a conversation to learn they don't like football. Instant dislike and confusion about what on earth are we going to talk about.

I’ve always found football to break down a lot of barriers when speaking to guys you don’t know, but are thrown in with so to speak, work etc………But a couple of my best mates really aren’t into football/sport at all. Until I got to know them I thought it was a bit weird, but they are generally great guys and have other hobbies,cars/bikes/wood working.

Both my son-in-law’s to be are not interested in football…
There’s a lot of silences.

Both my daughters were C section first was emergency and second was chosen time and date so I understand how that feels. I can top the ex boyfriend though my eldest 21 this year is seeing a lovely lad only problem is his family are all Norwich. I’m sure you will appreciate there are certain things you put football to one side for and your daughter being treated right is for me one of those things.

We should sing Sunshine on Leif if we have a game on the day.

An 8 hour walk sorted my missus out for our first. But boy did she complain throughout it. Sore feet my arse, just get on with it love. Er, I may not have said those exact words to her and would recommend nobody does to their partner. But the walk* definitely worked.

100%. Some things are more important. And you can always go through the courts to disown her if she goes too far to the dark side .

I make you right. Your kids come first whatever and club loyalties wouldn’t even be on my radar. My daughter’s 15 so we’re not at that stage yet. And I’m not sure how I’m going to feel about it tbh. My lad, meh, fine and whatever. He can look after himself and he’ll be in trouble if he does’t treat his lass right, although he’s been brought up to do so and I’m sure he will. But it’s very different with a girl isn’t it? You feel a lot more defensive.
