Following on from the post I did in the early hours of Saturday morning, felt that a follow up was in order.
My mum passed away peacefully this morning in a room that was as made available to us on Monday.
The care, compassion, kindness and dignity shown to her and our family has been exemplary by the staff and health care professionals who have looked after her and us over the last nine days (and nights) and has made an extremely difficult time much more bearable.
Thank you.
