This is what bugs me, from St Andrews to February, they’re all just awful goals in terms of the eye test aren’t they.
Whether being outmuscled, letting it bounce, a simple flick on, O’Shea controlling it for opposition, being slow to react or failing to defend a set piece, they’re just far too easy.
Sure, we’ve had a good record at the back for long stretches this season but that’s more to do with the respect and low blocks against us I think.
The streets smarts are missing somewhat and teams with a bit about them as this level can smell it, especially when we are on the road. |  |

Even then there is a case of WTF was Walton doing? Running like a headless giraffe not even back to his own goal initially after being in no man’s land, it could have been saved.

The second goal they played through us unopposed from their own penalty area, absolutely no pressure anywhere of note. Also midfield including Matusiwa laying halfway in their half and once bypassed we were in trouble.
Third was poor 2-3 up and no midfield cover at all, Broadhead ran unchallenged to edge of box. |  |

Watching the defensive and midfield debacle yesterday I really wonder what the players and McK have been doing the entire week. Especially since we have already played Wrexham just days ago.

Said to a Wrexham fan on the way home - will not see a worse goal at any level all weekend.
O’Shea has a habit of standing off in situations like that. Charlton at home rings a bell. It’s just madness against Moore - he’s travelled miles with the ball on his wrong foot and was probably after a corner at best. So bad. | | | |
