Blue Action, North Stand etc etc etc 10:24 - Mar 3 with 2126 viewsFrimleyBlue

Now whilst my neighbours get to enjoy my vocal support, it won't travel as far as suffolk

SO please

CAN WE HAVE THE BARNSLEY 'BLUE ARMY' BLUE ARMY BLUE ARMY going for a long long period.

BA if you start it but no one joins, KEEP GOING, they will eventually. North standers, get in on it.

Let us hear it at full volume on the tele, lets feel the passion through the screen, let us join in and pss the neighbours off.

BLUE ARMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BLUE ARMY!!!!! BLUE ARMY!!!

You go to games, and then spend your time moaning that wolfy plays for coventry whilst we're stuck with oshea.

Seems like you going to games itself isn't that contributing either,

You have dodged the question I’m afraid

And I contribute many ways, through the atmosphere, money spent, even if I do think Wolfie is better than O’Shea 🙂

I know that Frimley can talk for himself but you don’t really know what is happening in someones life and preventing them from attending more matches.

It’s easy to tell someone to go to PR but there might well be other factors in play which make that trip unlikely.

Look i'll be honest

I had a ST for many many years with my dad, that was my love, and came before any other thought process.

Now though Taking time off work to also cancel what i deem important - PT session at gym, and then do the m25 and a12 and then back, just doesn't appeal to me.

supporting my team shouting at the tele with my son and being able to continue with other aspects of my life, that's whats important to me and it's great that it can be achieved nowadays for pretty much all fixtures.

Fair play to those who go to every game, those who travel, that's completely upto them and hope they enjoy it, it's just not a dream of mine. Different if i was in my 20's etc but defo not now.

And to chantry, yes i've contibuted financially, shirts, town tv, and other areas too. Might not be the cost of going to games, but it's all a contribution.

Flash i wasn't complainig about atmosphere, i was asking to hear blue army through the tele like i did v barnsley, it sounded awesome. And we then scored too.

Yeah but you did complain about it after Saturday's game, I assumed this was a continuation of your thought process.

Overall I have nothing against the idea of rousing the crowd to sing more!

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

No-one has a problem with you not going, and it's perfectly understandable in your situation. It's the little comments about the atmosphere from someone who doesn't contribute to it themselves. A subtle difference!

Yeah i get it, but i think its ok to have a view on something that's not really a subject you HAVE to be at to be able to discuss it. People are watching what's going on in the world and discussing it, they aren't there living it etc but discussions are had.

you mentioned my comment the other day, it did sound quiet in comparison to other games but also at one point you heard the same champions of europe song on repeat and could kinda tell it was one little corner doing it. To me that's an open discussion point. You don't have to be at PR to discuss that point imo.

BUT i appreciate your view on it and can see your point too.

Discussing it's fine. Especially ways to improve it. It's when people tip over into criticising when they weren't there making any contribution to it themselves, or saying things like "it didn't sound that loud on my TV". The whole concept of an atmosphere relies on being in it to appreciate it.

Reminds me of my mate who says he loves Glastonbury - despite never having been. He means the coverage on the BBC!

I love the Dukes of Hazzard but I’ve never been to Georgia
