Trump is delivering the best peace anyone has ever seen. People said this sort of peace wasn't even possible, tremendous peace.
On a related note, the use of the phrase 'pre-emptive defensive strike' may br the most absurd use of double speak that the shower of bustards have used so far.

I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Hopefully, Fifa will do a skit in the opening ceremony to remind everyone of what a great ambassador for peace Trump is.
Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa
Argh come on Bansky no need to be so cynical or hasty. What if it's true that Trump as been appointed by the little baby Jesus and this all part of a bigger plan to hasten his return to earth?
I'm not sure how soon the big fella is due to return, but surely Fifa would look silly taking back their lovely trophy til we've seen how this pans out..

I’d love be to see the Iranians into the last 16 in this scenario with the big orange (alleged) pedo next to Gianni in the posh seats:
The Iranians are in Group G with Belgium, Egypt and New Zealand. Their matches are scheduled to take place in the US, with two fixtures in Los Angeles and one in Seattle. If both the US and Iran finish second in their respective groups, the two countries could meet in a 3 July last-32 match at Dallas Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Whilst football is secondary at best…

You do know who FIFA are, Rob?
This thread is clearly going to turn into another political debate about Trump, with people pushing their own political views. It might be better placed in General, alongside the other four Trump threads that have appeared in the last ten or so posts.
It keeps things a bit more organised.

I dunno, War on Terror takes some beating. And it's a classic.

There's an ignore thread button. At the end of the day, this is both football and "general" thread. FIFA shouldn't be handing out peace awards if it's got nothing to do with football.

Especially Peace (sic) awards made up purely to give to one man.
Hard to overstate just how much worse Infantino is than Sepp Blatter.
Well, are they likely to want to? It's not like they didn't know what they were dealing with at the time. I doubt there was a scrupulous analysis of different potential candidates. One wonders what Trump arranged for them in return.
They're probably more likely to give him /another/ peace prize than take away the first. I would say it's a scandal but it's more of a joke unfortunately.

Back in the day of “stupid rules of engagement”.
So glad we have consigned that kind of red tape to the bin.
Yeah. Not being able to kill school kids and bomb hospitals is so woke. Hopefully we’ll get a bit more torture now too. And a lot more rape to spice things up. Lovely stuff. It’s what Jesus would have wanted.
They’re despicable arseholes aren’t they? They’re not too dissimilar in outlook to the fanatics on the other side. I hope the US people can sort them out, starting with a big defeat in the midterms, if that’s allowed. That should curb their zealous, blood thirsty fanaticism just a little bit.

How many of us thought it would get worse when Blatter was ousted?
Perhaps the next bloke will be worse than Infantino.
We’re in Saint Blatter territory, relatively. Crazy isn’t it? I’m not sure you can get worse than Infantino, although if there’s a barrel bottom to be scraped I’m confident FIFA can scrape it.

Don't think so, do you think Iran will get to play? What formation do they favour, help keep it on track.
