Match the towns/cities to their *historic* counties

This is a quiz I had made a while ago but I've changed most of the answers and shortened it slightly as I am going to make a few others in the same format. This is #1 of 4.
It's just a case of typing in the historic county that each town or city "belongs" to (was once a part of), e.g. St Helens used to be part of Lancashire but is now in Merseyside.
There are 18 to try and get, with some counties being used more than once. Answers need to be entered into the corresponding highlighted boxes, and you can move on to a different one if you are stuck by selecting a different answer box. Abbreviations are allowed for some answers, e.g. Beds for Bedfordshire.
