And it’s taken them all the way to the heady heights of 15th. Agent Manning properly fked them.

62 - 78 - 81

aren't the bottom sides (Wednesday apart) the ones that are picking up their form and winning / getting draws? It is the middle clubs (QPR, Preston, Bristol City, Watford) that are giving the points away... I think Norwich are doing OK - albeit "generational form" might be somewhat generous

what's the dream for this season? top half, top 10 or finish within 15 points of ipswich!

6th place - it's still on!

... no really!

(honest....)

[stop sniggering]

You'll get nervous after the next round of games: Wrexham, Southampton and Derby will all lose / we'll win and the gap will be 6 points. so neah.

Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

you're right, there could be a mass spate of points deductions! it's the hope that kills you...

those results could happen, but bcwywf:- if wrexham lose you'll be 7 behind the swans and if derby lose, you'll be looking over your shoulders at pompey!

(2 more wins for safety - its gonna be a high total to stay up)

Edit: you're wrong about the Swans btw, assuming they win / we win it'll be a 4 pt gap

i see, i was looking at the points gap on friday night.

joking aside, i'd take safety as the win for this season, enjoy a rare end of season without tension (don't get too used to it though, like we did under mick)!

I see they have ten home losses. They all came in a row, didn't they?

Yeah, you're right, but hoping keeps the season interesting, at least until we next lose!

The dream is still just about alive!

("Generational" is a bit strong though - last time we won the league, we must have been well over 2ppg)

Yup - now that they have achieved that level it is definitely what they will do.

Really if you look at the games to come, you can make an argument that the teams we will be playing are likely to be lacking direction by the time we get to them - it is really only WBA and maybe Soton who will likely have anything to play for - got to think that Norwich, Pompey, Charlton, QPR will all be safely mid-table by then (like Stoke are....)

It's well known he's a secret Town fan. He just can't bring himself yet to admit it in public.

Arsenal, Orient etc means that he's half way there!

Manning may have fked them big time but look at the players they have signed - Ali Ahmed, Maghoma etc on the cheap and playing good football under their new manager

There’s value when you know where to look

Why can’t we do the same instead of buying and loaning overpriced duds

Would you have Makama or Azon? Sargent or Hirst?

Something is wrong with our recruitment

Very wrong

There’s been zero improvement on recruitment since GC took over.

WTAF, we have sold on over £100m in talent since Gamechanger, We brought in players who have played out of their skins like never before, Morsy, Luongo, Chappers, Leif, Hirst, Burns, Burgess, Axel.

Mistakes have been made, but mostly due to the pressure of needing a premier ready , then top championship squad in one window.

Strikers are hard to find but Hirst will come good again has scored 3 in 5 now and 9 for the season. Azon has attributes but time will tell if he makes it.

We don’t look at the bargains as we have the budget to spend more which in theory reduces the risk things won’t work out.

Another reason we need to go up this year.

If clements stays. They will be up there next year without a doubt.

he won't stay, hes had big jobs before and took the scum job when he was down on his luck. i wouldnt be suprised if a big club were looking at him.

5 of their last 7 games have been against the bottom 5. Lost their toughest game v Brum. I think people are overplaying it

And there's the rub! What a run of fixtures they caught, plus Leicesters' point deduction, and a Coventry side in the middle of their slump! Birmingham turn up...
