I’m a bit disappointed the shirts are going up for auction. It’ll only be a handful of relatively rich people who will be able to buy the shirts. I can’t help feel doing a raffle would be a better way of raising money for the foundation. I’d happily buy a ticket at £5 in the hope of winning one. Gives almost every supporter a fair and equal opportunity to get their hands on one. And could potentially raise even more than via auction.

Hopefully it'll just be a 'temporary' limited edition, to help get the best prices at auction, after which a bigger run will be released with, say, £5 per shirt going to the foundation. | |

Not gonna lie, I'd be pretty annoyed if I'd spent £500 on one of the auctions, thinking that they weren't going to do a wider release, only to then find out I could have got one for £50 a month later |  | | |

We can see by the discounting of the normal warm up stuff, there's not necessarily the demand for it you might think
For instance you can still buy Eds tour shirt in all sizes, its nearly a year since that concert, they've knocked 30 quid off its still not sold out.
They order a 1000 of these they sell 300...thats 700 x 50 quid they lose money on | | | |

It sold really well. I’ve got one, loads of people were wearing it when it first came out.
