That’s right and once you stop if you don’t exercise and watch the food intake you could pile the pounds back on.
Slimming World costs a whole lot less, you can eat for England the healthier options and lose weight while maintaining a good balance of nutrition, protein etc. Mrs SSB and my good self have lost eight and half stone between us in just over fourteen months and are both feeling so much better. Blood pressure down from sky high in both our cases to bang on normal. We go out to eat every few weeks, still enjoy a few drinks and are much healthier for it. It’s a mindset and changing eating habits that will continue to keep the weight down. I do think however that the jabs have a positive impact initially. The mind set, however for eating better and healthier need to run concurrently with the treatment for sustainable weight loss long term.
We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub.

You don't believe the rigorous testing before any drug goes public works?
For me its not necessarily the testing but the implications of rapid weight loss more generally, regardless of the mechanic. Pancreatitis and Gallbladder issues aren't new things resulting from extreme calorie deficit's, especially significant changes in habits in a short space of time. If GLP-1 type drugs facilitate that very rapidly then it becomes a consideration in itself. They're incredibly powerful medications and it feels to me like its not just certain patients using them off the back of clinical recommendation, certainly not from my experience. Many people are accessing these perceived 'cheat codes' online with no prescription and no clinical advice.
More broadly I don't question the clinical testing per se, but that in itself is never perfect. These things have been around long enough now with enough people using them where the side effects *should* be fairly well known, but history has shown plenty of examples of drugs once deemed safe that later proved otherwise.
The biggest risk right now is probably unregulated supply, the low barriers to these strong appetite suppressants and implications that can have on ones health more broadly.

Well that's funny you come out with this, listen to me, my neighbour was really fat for years but after being on the slim jab for a while she has completely disappeared, you can still hear her talk though, you can't have everything can you now.

I'm on it in prep for my holiday in a few weeks, I hate having the gut hanging over my speedos. The positive I'll be able to go mad with all the unhealthy food on holiday and it won't show until I get back home. Although I'm still annoyed the GP wouldn't prescribe it on the NHS, as I told him, flipping heck I only need it for a couple of months to prep for the holiday.

Well done to you both.
I shifted 3 stone when I first took up cycling 🚴♀️.

I saw them Eric at the old Wembley along with Fleetwood Mac and Jethro Tull.
Here is my take for what it’s worth and might give some a giggle. I find taking a little blue pill (most will know what I mean) makes it really hard for me to eat much for hours after. I can manage half a sandwich but not a lot more, think it’s to do with the blood flow around the stomach but not sure. It’s a lot cheaper than these fancy jabs but sounds like for me anyway has the same benefits.
