| League Cup final 17:22 - Mar 22 with 842 views | Dyland | Is that Drury? He's a dreadful lemon. "An engaging final." "Not an uninteresting first half, but without any goal scoring opportunities." Awful. Boring crap. Am I missing something? Maybe I should stop watching football, ffs. | |

If the FA Cup has been devalued in recent years, the Carabou Cup is pretty much worthless now. Scrap it. One domestic cup competition is enough now. Doing so will revitalise and improve the profile of the FA Cup. City just scored, fair-play to them for not dropping first-teamers and treating the competition with a modicum of respect. Other than the keeper - who Manchester City have also switched - I think Arsenal have basically put out their first XI? The only other change they made from the Leverkusen game is Havertz for Eze, who is injured. Edit: Manchester City have made more changes from midweek than Arsenal. [Post edited 22 Mar 18:07]

Doesn't even know the rules. Clear memory of him commentating on a Man U vs PSV (I think but it doesn't matter) when United were drawing from first leg and went two nil up at home and he said "United TWO NIL AND THROUGH TO THE NEXT ROUND" in this absurd Partridgesque manner. PSV scored twice and went through on away goals. Arf. At least someone has scored now :)

For this prestigious cup final, Arsenal dropped Prem regulars Raya, Medueke, Calafiori, and Gyorkeres. Carabou Cup is landfill football. [Post edited 22 Mar 18:15]

Probably as many times as they’ve mentioned the 115 charges. A continuing stain on the game that industrial-scale cheating continues to go unpunished and unresolved for so long. Every trophy is tainted.

Gyokeres started? As highlighted, Arsenal made two changes from the team which played in the Champions League in midweek, one of those being the keeper switch and the other enforced through injury. Manchester City, in comparison, made four including the keeper switch.
