Personally I’m turning away from the politics of it all and more concerned about how the damage is limited and I think the Ashton and the club have been pretty unprofessional about this.

The Board and the Club will learn lessons....notably no admission that HE will learn any lessons. Why? Because in his eyes, he's done no wrong. Its not " his" fault (Chairman and CEO accountability doesn't apply to him it seems). At every given point in his "apology" he constantly distances himself from any personal involvement.
