He doesn’t want petty party politics. Which nobody should care about, in the context of the passion we all share, to kill our football club. We’re losing brand and commercial equity.., big time, that isn’t going away, whether it makes you feel bad or not. EVERY reform voter should be against this, because it’s a threat to our club…, it’s only a question of how much money we lose, 10’s or 100’s of millions, how many players and staff we don’t retain, or don’t join. And how much TV, match day, and sponsors revenue we lose. Can you see Sky choosing us if away fans right wing bait us, and they risk losing THEIR sponsors??? It’s literally how they make money. So it’s only a question of how large the damage is, and I have to ask, is that worth validating party politics, and saying, Mark Ashton agrees with me? Is it worth it. We become Mark Ashton FC at that point. You do know Ipswich Town FC has to die for that? You know football I’m sure, you know it’s about money and revenue more than ever, and you know we’re struggling in league one if we are lucky based on the impact on resources. Revenue. Good players and staff, you can’t be successful without them. Why did you think 100% of other clubs avoid toxic things like party politics?? It’s toxic. So (not) sorry if someone taking that seriously offends you, maybe it’s guilt at standing by while our club dies. You might not like the persons politics, I don’t know if o do either, I haven’t even thought about it, because I don’t care. I DO care about our club, and will stand shoulder to shoulder with anyone that does! Sorry. But I don’t think you do, certainly not enough, casting party politics seems more important to you …, more important than our football club. You do you. I don’t give a stuff about party politics compared to my football club, one has given me countless you and memories, the other just grief. So I choose football. And it has to be Ashton out to survive, that’s the choice. You do you though. | |
