Following the confirmation there are 17 going to Norwich on Saturday, I’m trying to think of the most that have been to an away game, excluding Wembley and FA Cup semi finals.
Barnsley in 1990 had at least a dozen, and was quite the sight as we went round the ring road in convoy. Shame most of the coaches were yellow and green (the contract was with Eastern National at the time who had the unfortunate colour scheme)
Think there was a hefty number for the West Ham play off in 2004 as well. |  |

Arsenal is a good shout, didn’t think of that one.
We drove to that aiming to park at Cockfosters, but it was full so drove to the next stop down the line.
Can remember a previous Norwich game with no trains, maybe around 2008(?), but we drove to that one as well and parked off Bracondale. | |

That Barnsley cup game is certainly the most I have seen (and been part of). I suspect that may have been beaten by Swindon in 98-99 but I wasn't at that one. An away play-off match also maybe at Sheff U or Bolton? I drove to Upton Park, foolishly probably, in 2004 and had my tyres slashed.
I did go to the Arsenal semi final but took the train so didn't see the convoy which would surely have been quite substantial. [Post edited 9 Apr 22:12]

Milan away, I remember being in a massive convoy of coaches from the City Centre to the stadium. Our coach side swiped an ambulance and Police Motorcyclist just signaled no stopping-keep going to the driver.

After many years of travelling away to games on my own and rarely seeing followings which our football deserved; I was totally mesmerised by the sight of so many coaches.
There I was before the game, sitting on the outside steps of the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam, just soaking in the accomplishment and what transpired is a sight that has remained with me ever since.
Coach upon coach of town fans in another country. Very uplifting.
