I think Leicester are gone regardless. Great news for Pompey and Oxford though if punishment is dished out this season.

I think you're right, they seem to have given up. You can't rule out that the 2nd chance could focus their minds though. It would just be their luck to narrowly avoid relegation because of this.

yes my Leicester supporting mate says they have big financial problems for next season, bad enough if they stay up but even worse if they go down. He expects a fire sale of players in the summer - if anyone wants to match the high wages of a few failures.
He says the problems date back to when the owner died in a helicopter crash. His 32 year old playboy son became a billionaire & also inherited Leicester City FC. He is said to be a poor owner, more interested in polo & racehorses than his football club, while King Power's duty free operations were badly hit by COVID.

Not ideal - I was rather hoping baggies would be on the proverbial beach when we play them

They could well be relegated by then!

I suspect this will be up in the air and nobody will quite know what's going on for a while yet.

When Leicester, City and Chelsea get to string it out for a season or a decade, it would be a bit harsh to hit the Baggies within a month!

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!

Nah. I reckon this will either end up as a 1 point deduction or a transfer ban for this summer. If correct and only marginally over, a points deduction that amounts to relegation could be deemed a punitive punishment.
