| Bad day at the office… but 22:12 - Apr 14 with 529 views | TRUE_BLUE123 | These things can happen and playing back to back away games in the championship in close proximity is always extremely difficult and teams very rarely win that 2nd away game. There has been lots of discussion on this forum about potential team if we go up and if that is what happens to us tonight should highlight why we would be needing to sign 8/9 starters to be even remotely competitive in that league, we just really struggle with the physicality of these teams who step on to us. Sunday is a huge game but should suit us a bit more. Win that and we are still in a great position. | |

| Bad day at the office… but on 22:16 - Apr 14 with 447 views | BouncebackIpswich | So what do we do when we have Charlton, West Brom and Southampton away in the same week? Hope to win the 1st game and accept we're likely to lose the next 2? Because if that's what happens, it's playoffs for us. Need to learn to stand up and be counted away from home. Jack Taylor has to start every game from hereon in. | |

Fixture list hasn’t been kind to us through no fault of our own. I’d go in to these away games to not lose. Play like we did at Norwich. Get Johnson in there. Get Taylor on the pitch and grind it out. Nunez and Neil today were too passive for games like this.

I agree with you. The problem is that we probably need to win and draw Charlton and W Brom, accounting for the inevitable loss Vs Saints and that also puts huge pressure for wins in the Boro and QPR home games. Suddenly the margin for error has got very slim again.

I wasn't aware of that stat but it makes a lot of sense. McKenna needs to learn what to do when a technically inferior but high energy, physical and up for it home side come at us. Rinse and repeat this performance away at West Brom and Charlton and we're done for [Post edited 14 Apr 22:45]
