No one has said he had to. No one has even come close to saying they own him. Not sure why youre throwing that in.
All we had was he had a child. Thats it. So again based on other players playing close to a birth its absolutely fine to wonder why he didnt.
Of course there could be reasons behind it too. But not something for people to get offended by. No need to advise births arent simple. My sons wasn't and there was a time I didnt think my wife was gonna make it.
