As the players tried to take the field,
The marching band refused to yield
Do you recall what was the deal?
The day that football died

It seems really unfair on the players - the biggest match of their careers and if that half-time bollox lasts for twenty-five minute, they’ll be left twiddling their thumbs trying to get back into the zone.

I went to a conference recently which had a "curated breakfast".

It was pastries. Just like every other conference.

The minimum I would expect at a Curated breakfast would be eggs which were "good in parts".

It is against the rules of football surely. IFAB law 7 says players are entitled to an interval at half time not exceeding 15 minutes.

Infantino, who is bizarrely, even more corrupt than Blatter was will soon sort that out for his mate Donald. Especially if there is US advertising revenue to coin in on.

It could be worse. We could have had to endure 4 quarters with ad breaks and a Donald Trump kick off. Please tell me that's not happening.

We had Diana Ross last time.

This time could be Donald Trump hosing the GK with an AR15, before sending the penalty out for a throw as the goal gets taken out with a Napalm strike.

Dear God I hope England reach the final. I'd hope all the English fans would boo through this nonsense from start to finish

Better than a pi$sed up Delia on the pitch at half time though at least…

I completely disagree.

Delia is almost one of us. After all, she is a director of our feeder club.

Couldn't Diana Ross make a half-time comeback - football-wise, that is!

It will be true, Infantino asked lots of National Associations what they wanted and most said to make more money, so that's been his only goal and is happy to screw over players and fans to do it - players and fans don't vote in FIFA elections....

A lot of national associations love him for this and he's already been proposed to be re-elected
