I have noticed a lot of merchandise with simply the Suffolk Punch: on badges etc, over the tunnel at PR and on my new cap. Are we being prepped for a badge redesign to the horse as it's a better image for commercial reasons? Not the worst idea in my opinion.

With many clubs dumbing down their badges as per the video below and the horse being used alone on our third kit in place of our normal badge, I think it is a possibility. I doubt fans want the club crest to be changed though, I certainly don't.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit. The current badge is absolutely fine but, from a marketing and graphics point of view, is probably too involved.
I can quite see the club transitioning to a more streamlined badge over coming seasons, purely from a marketing point of view. I recall Norwich used the same justification when they re-designed their badge, and you can see this in the new Cambridge United badge as well.
