Lasted two months longer than I thought he might.

Agree about modern football, but less so about Rosenio being sacked being a symptom of that. He'd pretty clearly lost the players and nothing was going to improve. Sad for him though.

Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

He's been woeful as largely predicted. Baffling appointment.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

He's a good young coach and player power is out of control.

That club is the epitome of capitalism wrecking ball ruining football.

The board and that mad Todd guy should show some b**ox and back a manager they gave a 6 year contract to.

Embarrassing.

I spose, the particular problem at Chelsea in the players powrfronr, is that they all on such long contracts.

Agree with that, but doesn't change the fact it was a daft appointment of a manager not remotely ready for that role. None of that is Rosenior's fault, but it was pretty much nailed on it would pan out this way.

A despicable and rancid club. Happily turned a blind eye to how Abramovich got his money, now their current owner’s company is touting FA Cup semi final tickets for a grand just days before Chelsea v Leeds. Fk em all.

Seems like a decent guy, and probably a good coach at the right club / level.

He'll need to do a Lampard and find the right Championship club really.

He doesn't help himself with some of his cheesy / David Brent antics though.

Rosenior is a Rookie in Premiership terms. That's why our KMc will not go to a Premier team until he has experience.

How anyone is surprised by this is baffling.

Wrong appointment. Bizarre they gave him a five and a half year deal …. Dreadful from the board.

But he’s not been good enough. Out of his depth. Sadly. It’s not modern day football. It’s like any business. Wrong person appointed.

Except, in other businesses, questions would be asked about those who made the appointment in the first place.

Agreed. Terrible appointment. Stupid contract length.

I was surprised when they appointed him, surprised when they had an upturn after he arrived and not surprised it’s gone down hill. He wasn’t ready and based on his erratic interviews not of strong enough a character to manage the egos at a big club like Chelsea, obviously in hindsight.

They got that appointment wrong, yet can you blame them for trying him? There are a lot of young managers doing well at big clubs, so the model isn’t flawed and we obviously don’t know what they saw in him.

What I can’t understand is the length of contract. And for their players too (although helps with amortisation on the balance sheet). They seem to be being run by cretins.

Poll: Escaped Goat of the day. Who’s it going to be?
