In fact it was perfectly fine the 2000s to 2010s. Mark Lawrenson gave way to Dan Walker, Dion Dublin, Lee Dixon, Garth Crooks, all decent enough and knowledgeable enough. Remember football focus would focus on the entire football pyramid. And it came into its own for FA cup weekends.
