52 tomorrow - remember Oxford away in 1992? 22:10 - Apr 24 with 728 viewsWarkystache

I was 18 when we played Oxford in 92. Gavin Johnson scored an equaliser and up we went.

34 years later - COME ON TOWN!

Nah, there’s no way that was 32 years ago…. Balls.

Have a good one Warkers.

I was there, on the pitch over the fence at the end. One of the best days of my life. That 91/92 promotion is probably my best ever season following Town.

I was 18 as well, albeit only for a few more weeks.

Amazing day. Amazing season. Surges in the North Stand, drunken sing alongs at the Blackadder into the evening.

34 years Stevo!

I remember climbing that fence in me Joe Bloggs jeans. WHE-LAN!

One of those away memories from that season. Including Southend and Thommo's thunderbolt. They don't make 'em like that any more.

I was 21. Done my ankle in the week before but a nice Policewoman helped me onto the Oxford pitch 😆

I think i was at that game with my dad, though I was only 12. But it rings a quiet bell.

Didn’t make that one but I did go to Ashton Gate for the loss at Bristol City. A certain Andy Cole was our undoing that day.

Was there with my mate. Shortish drive from Stratford upon Avon. Serenading the players and staff on the pitch. Great day.
Went to my local pub in aforementioned town that evening for a couple of beers thinking it would be a quiet night only to discover that a group of fellow Town fans had booked in for the night. A messy session all round celebrating.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.
