My selection: Walton (current) Taricco (90s) Butcher (81) Beattie (78) Edwards (10s) Thijssen (81) Holland (00s) Jaden (current) Wark (78) Dyer (90s) Stewart (00s) [Post edited 26 Apr 21:39]

Peak 14/15 Murph is banging 30 goals easy. He didn't even take a single pen that season.

He’s definitely more of a like for like replacement for Hirst or Delap than Marcus Stewart. Mariner would be brilliant in a McKenna team too. I just look at how much we create with balls on the ground though and know Stewart would score goals for fun in a McKenna team.

Murphy was agreat player that season, but did he have the stamina to do the pressing work for 60 minutes? I'm not saying he didn't, I just can't remember that side of his game. How 'bout Kuqi?

| Best Ipswich team in a 4-2-3-1 formation playing under KM on 21:20 - Apr 26 with 730 views | Sharkey | Gerken (20-teens) Burley (81) Beattie (78) Hunter (81) Osborne (78) Dozzell (80s) Stockwell (80s) G.Johnson (90s) Szmodics (current) Whitton (90s) Crawford (60s) I did my best, but I couldn't find two current players, and Osborne has to play full-back. (Did he occasionally do that?) I did add the extra restriction that they had to have played for Colchester. Still, not a bad team. | | | |

I remembered it as a bit more than that, and Wikipedia suuggests 18 times. It was him or Wayne Brown, and we're still getting over the Farage incursion. Or the great Glen Keeley

Good full back options. Woods or Clarke on the right side of the attack?

He or Scowcroft would bag at least 20 goals a season under KM

I like Scowcroft, but he was never prolific. 13 goals in a season was the most he got in his entire career, most at the second tier. Very much like Hirst, did a lot of useful things that a lot of people overlooked, but is/was very unlikely to be a 20-goal a season striker. But ask the prolific striker who they want next to them and it would be Scowcroft.
