That first 10 minutes felt like the majority of home games in 2023/24. We absolutely suffocated them and stamped on their throats. I don't think I can remember another home game like it this season.
Knew the atmosphere would be good but that was pretty special, comfortably as good as '23 and '24, and it's hard to think that wouldn't have contributed to how we started the game.

It’s really simple. It took an a year for McKenna’s first team to come together. It’s taken this team a similar amount of time.
At the start of the season, new players looking for each other. Taking that extra touch. Not quite sure. Individually fine, collectively unsure.
Fast forward to chunks of recent games, including today, no need to look just play. X will be there. We were tearing Saints apart last 15 mins Tuesday in particular and put this game away early. Even when QPR were pressing they really were on the end of a lead.
Had this team not been promoted I suspect, even with a few players moving on, it would have dominated. Now? Well that depends who is in charge, club restructure etc etc. |  | | |
