Doing outside work this early on a Sunday 07:38 - May 17 with 1288 viewsFrimleyBlue

Bloody neighbour somewhere near me has been outside hammering something. Sawing away at stuff etc since 7am

Surely thats not allowed that early on a Sunday is it?

Don't think it's illegal as such, but agree that 7am on a Sunday is bloody ridiculous. Most people with a brain in their nut would realise that's unsociable.

Power tools 8am on a Sunday that’s what I was told when you could start using them.

My favourite is sitting down for lunch with a nice glass of wine and the neighbour kicks in with her jetwash 😡

Its so baffling. I cant be arsed to go work out who it is but I feel bad for their direct next door neighbours. If its woken me up then it must be painful there.

Oo now the chainsaws going.

You should invite her over for a wine. Or she should invite you over for a wash.

Maybe it’s emergency work as something is leaking.

So you’ve never had to cut away decking or other boards to reach a leaking pipe etc. I have had to do my fair share of emergency repairs down the years and you’d be surprised what’s involved at times.

My point was that there may be a very good reason as to why the work is being done now.

I once had to cut my friends decking boards at midnight as his cat had managed to get stuck under, had injured its leg and they could not get it out any other way!! Stuff happens.

Years ago my neighbour broke up his old cast iron bath in his garden with a sledgehammer at about 8am. Rang like big Ben for about an hour.

That felt very anti social, but at least it was after 8

Yeah fair point, it could be an emergency. I wonder if Frimmers has had the issue before or it's a one-off.

There's been work going on somewhere the past few days, as heard it when i've come back from work, so it could be the same guys just trying to get it finished.

But 7am on a sunday, bstrds lol, maybe that was karma for watching the whole of eurovision
