The problem with the prem is as a promoted side, you're coming up against pretty much a league of potential european quality squads now.
Top 8 get europe this year, Bournemouth, brighton and brentford all could qualify together. As a promoted side, you're hoping you can get some points against those sides as they usually seen as the 'others' in the league
But if they can then start attracting players due to european competitions, whilst having the likes of newcastle, spurs, chelsea etc all going again in the summer, new managers etc when you think of needing 40 points to stay up, as a promoted club you are wondering jeez how are we going to compete with that. |  |

Last game of last season, spoke to a couple of their lot, a very subdued crowd for them. they were basically of the opinion that if it wasn't for us, saints and Leicester it would have been them, and the writing was already on the wall for this season. Their fanbase has changed along with their stadium. Hopefully a long road back for them. | | | |
