Hopefully not a first clue of the new kit being teased 15:42 - May 28 with 3968 viewsburnbudgiesburn

Unpopular opinion I guess, I really hated the 1992-3 lace up kit with white sleeves (did at the time too!)

There's only so much variation on blue you can do though, we are probably due white sleeves again.

Purely out if interest..

For those who like the white sleeves, did you grow up watching Town during 92-94 / 97-99 when we had them?

I’ve seen a few people mention the white sleeves before but I absolutely hate them. I started going in 99 though so wonder if it’s because I just don’t associate them with being very Town like.

The three white sleeve kits we’ve had (13/14, 16/17 & 18/19) would rank as the bottom 3 of the 21 homes shirts we’ve had in that time for me.

Hope we steer well clear.

2026/27 is the 90th anniversary of the first time we wore white sleeves. We had turned professional, and had received enormous help and encouragement fro Samuel Hill-Wood, Chairman of Arsenal and a close friend of Ivan Cobbold. Hill-Wood was made a Vice President of ITFC at that time, and we adopted the white sleeves, mirroring Arsenal's iconic look, as a thank-you, or perhaps almost a homage.

Blue shirt with white sleeves will do nicely. Can't be doing with collars, laces or the red shield behind the badge

Is that a reference to the numerous 2-2 draws under Paul Cook

Poll: If Saturday is Wes Burns last match for Ipswich will you?

Got two of the originals of this still. One was my own, the other I found on my car when I returned after a game, along with an empty pint glass.

Blue arms better.

I loved that kit and from I remember was the fastest selling in the country at the start of that season.

Micky Stockwell is who I always conjure up with that one.

That was the shirt the team wore when I first started going, so I remember it fondly. Shirts were changed every two seasons back then, so had more chance to be remembered.
