We rewatched buffy last year, actually was pleasantly surprised how well it had aged.

Always seemed so eternally youthful.

Went on to be Jonathan Creek's 'boss', Giles in Buffy and was also the PM in Little Britain sketches.

Last couple of things I saw him in was the Inbetweeners film (as Will's dad) and in 'Back'- The Mitchell and Webb sitcom that isn't as good as Peep Show.

That is a shame and I had no idea his children had only very recently lost their mum too.
The eclectic mix of the four things I picture him in are best bizarre .. those coffee ads,Buffy,Walliams prime minister and frankenfurter in the stage show of rocky horror.
I also had no idea that was his brother in Bangkok.

Apart from his own career, he was also the father of Emily Head, best known for playing Carly in the Inbetweeners.

Hence his brief cameo in the Inbetweeners film as Will's dad.
