Any anthem written in the past will have lyrics that can be questioned. Call it satire, others would claim one of hope.

As one of the first nations to create a welfare system, seems appropriate you label him a visionary socialist.

A fabulous song. Immediately Wales lost their World Cup play-off against Bosnia, this song came blaring out at the stadium to lift the spirits of the defeated Welshies.

Slightly ironic the first line of the chorus "ry'n ni yma o hyd" means "we are still here" though
