TF is the only one of that list I’d like here, and he’s already ruled himself out of any job this season.

You know we don’t have to appoint from a bookies list I assume?

Wow, that is not inspiring.

We are however a very good job, so maybe something will turn up unexpected,

Has MA ever appointed a manager while in the Premier League, with Watford maybe? A number of his appointments have been young, ambitious, slightly left field at the time. Feel he will go for proven PL experience this time round.

Frank the only good one.

Rosenior is useless. Failed at Hull in the championship.

What a horribly depressing list given Frank has already ruled himself out of jobs.

Unless we make him an offer he can't refuse.

Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened.

From the original list the only one of interest would be Frank but sadly as others have already pointed out he's already ruled himself out of a job at the moment which is a shame.

I'm kind of hoping that it's someone who we've not heard of maybe from abroad as for example I hadn't heard of Fabian Hürzeler before he joined Brighton but he's a blooming good manager. However Brighton appointed him off the back of De Zerbi leaving and if I take my blue tinted spectacles off a team which has already had at least one season of staying up in the PL is an easier sell to a prospective manager than a newly promoted team.

Other names I've seen mentioned include:-

Danny Rohl
Kim Hellberg
Vitor Matos (I think that this would be a dangerous appointment in the PL because I think we'd be too open and concede a lot of goals)
Pep Lijnders
Kjetil Knutsen
Ole Gunnar Solskjær
Steve Cooper
Nuno
Thiago Motta

I even saw somebody mention Tonda Eckert.

I took a look at a list of out of work managers and saw what I thought were two really interesting candidates listed below however I then looked elsewhere and saw that the out of work managers list I looked at was out of date and both managers now had jobs but they would of been interesting choices.

Edin Terzić
Domenico Tedesco

I am thinking though we may just need someone who can play pragmatic football just to get 17th (or preferably above) and keep us up rather than the free flowing football that we love to watch.

I don't think it does to everyone.

I am not convinced all fans want to watch a Dyche side deadball their way into 16th.

What about taking Burnley to Europe! .., slaughter a guy who’s had a million times more success at the level than McKenna, who you think is world class.

There’s levels of delusion. Not a great style of football, but tell me how many times we played well in our 22 glorious point season??

We were dreadful the last half of the season, and West Ham last day made us look three leagues out of our depth - and if we played them tomorrow, they still would. Dyche sides played great in the EFL, it’s just a little bit easier isn’t it. And he got to Europe with far fewer resources than KM too.

Wouldn’t be my first choice either, but I’m not sure McKenna ever achieves what Dyche did at Burnley.

Plus his Insta is pure gold.

Yeah, I'm still fine with not wanting Dyche.

I do actually think Kim Hellberg isn't the worst shout, didn't get Boro over the line but the football he played was high energy and incisive and his team created chances.

I can't see it as he's unproven but fits some of the criteria.
