If you want somewhere central for the sights and close to excellent transport links (s-bahn and u-bahn) look around Potsdamer Platz. Loads of places to eat around there and less then 10 min walk to Brandenburg Gate and the Riechstag, Checkpoint Charlie not a long walk either. We stayed at Grand Hyatt and was very nice. | | | |

If we're given the away block (Sektor 5), it'll be 100% terracing, with a capacity of just under 2,500.
