It’s all a bit disjointed. Try and put something in the box for Kane seems to be the plan, and half the time we struggle to put decent crosses in. I suppose it can be effective because Kane is so good. It’s a bit too predictable. You’ve always got a chance of course although I’ll be surprised if we get much further. |  |

The game this was posted in was indeed seeing us struggle to find any coherence. Much better last night and I suspect that’s because it was more like Croatia second half with there being a lot more space to exploit (it certainly looked that way on the highlights).
The games have all been very different. We had struggled against the low block leading into last night’s game. And then last night was clearly the kind of performance and result people have been hoping for. Now we get a new challenge against Norway and will have to adapt again. | |
