| Surprise surprise on 21:20 - Jul 5 by redrickstuhaart | They did it for Ronaldo already- he should not have played the first two games. Corruption. White House influence. Completely undermines integrity of the game and tournament. Lets be clear about this. We CANNOT trust a single thing FIFA say or do. Or indeed, things like VAR referrals. We do not know what influence is being exerted or instructions given. We do not even know if the automated var is gerrymandered. This utterly blatant corruption gives cause to seriously question everything else. [Post edited 5 Jul 21:23]

I think the Portugal vs Croatia offside was a fix as well, I don't buy that 'snicko' line had any relation to anything that actually happened to that ball. Beyond the dodgy snicko, FIFA's own guidelines regarding the ball technology offsides state that a player "touching" the ball with their hair only constitutes an active play or contact if the hair physically alters the movement, spin, or trajectory of the ball. FIFA are corrupt, and it has now got to the point where the corruption is spreading to the field of play itself in order to nudge the scales towards the outcome that is commercially beneficial to them.

Agree entirely. No transparency over these decisions. I have a serious concerns about the semi auto offside domestically too.
