Sure it's not an insignificant fee given the quality of player she is, but that is a huge, huge loss. She was destined for the WSL and Brighton is a great club. Shame we didn't get there with her in the team. |  |

Peskett is a loss but I imagine Thomas left as she's looking for more game time. There will be more depth across the whole squad. I imagine the aim is to be comfortably mid-table whilst developing the young players further for a crack at promotion the following season. | | | |
