When we went ahead we looked like a league 2 team going up against a premier league team. I don’t think that’s defensible, as I said last night it was embarrassing watching us from that point for a team that is ranked in the top 4.
Would I sack Tuchel? I wouldn’t but he’s burnt through a lot of goodwill last night. Our inability to control games though the ball hasn’t improved despite us having better technical players and the improvement that youth development has taken on. We have to focus to developing players to control games if we are to be successful but also combine it with our strengths and the strength of the premier league. |  | | |

Touchel is right about the mentality but it was his decision to take off forwards and go to a 5 man defence because he didn’t trust the players to go on and win it. Left Foden at home and Mainoo went and never played a game. Criticising the players makes it very difficult for him as the players will not have the same respect for him anymore. The players have more power than the manager. Think Touchel has shot himself in the foot. Probably best he goes tbh! | | | |
