I have absolutely no idea how this super computer works, but I suspect it's pretty meaningless at this stage, given few teams actually know who'll be starting their first games. Not completely surprised by the bottom 6, other than Forest who I think Glasner will take on a step. Otherwise, seeing us, Cov, Hull, Sunderland and Palace wouldn't be a surprise, just have to hope we can edge the margins and finish above 3 of them. I think Fulham could be the other one dragged down a bit. Leeds will be buoyed by their performances last season and I think they'll be strong enough to stay out of trouble. Farke is a good manager and has rightfully been given time to build them. |  | |  |

It can't possibly make a meaningful prediction at this stage. However, I guess the reasons for Hull being above us are probably (1) the loss of a successful manager and the disruption that is likely to cause, and (2) the fact that we aren't as far forward as Hull in terms of making signings. As I say, it can't be meaningful at this stage. Most identikit pundits will be saying that it's a negative that Kieran walked out, and I would tend to agree, although obviously GoN gets my whole hearted support. All the data they are using is based on the end of last season. Think of all the teams with new managers, players, team strategies etc. The only time I would take any notice of these are from October - December and from March until the season ends. That is about the only time the data will hold up as there will be new variables added in the other months and as soon as a manager is sacked or a players dies etc the data is changed.
