KM had a blind spot. He’s played more of his career as a 9 than a 10 before joining us, but he just wouldn’t see it despite a couple of appearances as striker when he looked much better. But if we’re going into the season relying on Akpom we’re in trouble. |  |

My comment was a bit tongue in cheek but I agree with your assessment above. If he’s not shipped out on loan and played in his preferred position, then he could well be a useful backup option from the bench. |  |

GON last night. “Chuba, again, has been very, very good in pre-season, to be honest, in and around the goal. Looks a threat." One thing I particularly like about him is his pace which counts for something in the top division. [Post edited 30 Jul 11:10]
