Only two signings were starting and they both looked pretty good. The other signings on paper look good as well. SB

He would definitely have bought 3 more right sided attackers just to see if we could get a decent one......! People are so quick to jump the gun. Give O'Neil a chance ffs!

I don't think he's more equipped than Gaz in whats going to be probably a relegation battle. The more I think about it.... Kieran did exactly the right thing for himself and the club.

People need to get over KMc. He wanted out, he's now gone and we have a new man in charge, so it's time to get behind him.

He did. We had a league one squad and we spent £140m. Sunderland had a championship squad and spent well over £200m. It still surprises me that people think we should have stayed up because we spent £140m. It's really not very much in the Premier league these days. £20m seems to get you a half decent player. £140m will buy you 7 half decent players. Hardly a guarantee of success.

And some of those players struggled to hold down a starting spot in the Champioship. I’d ask whoever was advising on players when cookie was here to come back lol.

I'm sad he left. But I am not one hundred percent sure that he knew what was required. Strange really being an ex Man Utd man. My reasoning is that if part of the reason he left was because MA wouldn't sanction the buying of Cajuste maybe that sums up the type of player KM was looking to purchase. If you take what he has gone for in the past, players like Philogene, Hutchinson etc all technically good but not the most robust. Go back to the days of a team like Wimbledon with Vinny Jones and their ability to stay in the then First Division from Season 86-87 until 2000. I don't advocate a similar style of play, but all the great teams of the past have had one or two nasty players in their team. The likes of Bremner,Keane,Souness etc.
