Those are decent numbers given we've made clear under 2 different managers that we don't want him here, and he's going to be getting on a bit by the time the fee is payable.
Hoping very much that the £2.7m is unconditional (i.e. there is an absolute obligation to buy, regardless of personal milestones/team performance etc), but I fear that's wishful thinking. We may be on the wrong end of an Al Hamadi deal, but they've got us over a barrel, it seems to me. |  | | |
