| TEAM on 15:30 - Aug 30 by blueoutlook | I’m not convinced by our defence at all. Don’t like O Shea at right back. Not convinced on Greaves or Davis to be honest. I was hoping for a new right back and a new LCB and a new Left back. All the good work in the transfer market could be undone by having what I see as a weak back line. |
you're never convinced by anything positive to do with itfc though!

I just can’t see us defending or creating anything from the right side today, got away with it against Sunderland but United should have more than enough to exploit that. We’ve got next to no real threat coming off the bench either, we really needed another forward through the door.

| TEAM on 15:25 - Aug 30 by ITFC_Essex | I’m a fan of not changing the side after winning, however it’s glaringly obvious that our right side is extremely weak for this level and our bench is way below what we’re going to need to stay up, in my humble opinion. |
I name you the Private Fraser of TWTD. What a cheery outlook after 90 minutes, and three points, into the PL season.

We're obviously aware of that, hence the Abraham deal being on the table. I do agree, the backline seems to have got little attention compared to midfield and attack, which is a concern. I'd like to bring in at least one more defender before the window closes.

I think you might be surprised, if we give them a game is all we can ask. Any points are a bonus. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Someone's here all cocky today because their team finally got a win yesterday, I see.

I will give the manager credit for sticking with a settled team though. I felt our biggest mistake last time was trying to change too much following the Liverpool home game where the work rate made up for some of the gulf in ability and instead tried to debut players at Manchester City.

Though, other than Palacios for Nunez, what changes could he make which, on paper, would make us stronger?

| TEAM on 16:07 - Aug 30 with 375 views | pointofblue | The more I think about it the more irritated I am. Hull play a 19-year old CB, a young Brazilian in central midfield who has struggled to make an impact in the Premier League even before this season, a left back on left wing. We get to face an experienced Argentinian international at CB, plus two England internationals at CM and LW, who have proven themselves at this level before. Dalot for Mazraoui too, but that might be a much for a muchness. | |

Yes. For me, we also need more depth in defence (CB who can cover LB maybe) and at least cover on the right wing - who can possibly also step into the number ten position - too.
