Man U first real test of adversity, Sunderland scoring one but more extreme test. Maybe nature of goals conceding, left the game plan, but not as long as I initially thought, but that 12 mins. Think we showed we can compete at the level, so positive. The transition at the club, players, new coach etc, to look as well organised as we did for first 50 mins at Old Trafford, very positive. Level is ruthless, little bit of misfortune, MUFC have players who can expose you. Now looking forward to Liverpool. | | | |

Was always confident Flemming would get done, on the day, the day before. Once they get to that point I was confident we would get him. Brings thing, physical attributes. Leads well. Type of person we're recruiting is important. Did tactical stuff today, even boys not involved were excellent. Good togetherness.
