Whether he's ok or out for weeks, I bet GON says he's touch and go for this. No need to give Liverpool a heads up.

Man U first real test of adversity, Sunderland scoring one but more extreme test. Maybe nature of goals conceding, left the game plan, but not as long as I initially thought, but that 12 mins. Think we showed we can compete at the level, so positive. The transition at the club, players, new coach etc, to look as well organised as we did for first 50 mins at Old Trafford, very positive. Level is ruthless, little bit of misfortune, MUFC have players who can expose you. Now looking forward to Liverpool.

Flemming signing important, third striker always needed. Everyone is getting towards fitness - Taylor, Matusiwa, Philogene - but will come a time.

Liverpool have deserved to win their two games, know Andoni's teams, Bournemouth etc. I expect him to be a big success. Worked with his coaches before. Two points from six not what they wanted, but they'll come here thinking they can get all three. As we do, that's the beauty of the PL.

Great news, I was worried he was going to be out for a while. We'll have a much stronger bench for Liverpool by the sound of things!

Can't make sure home record can continue in PL, but need to make sure we're right in the game, give ourselves opportunities. Have looked good in our games, created chances, few clean sheets in PL these days. Important we keep that threat up. Difficult one for us, everyone up for it, players trained well today, expect we'll leave on Friday with more points than we went into the game.

No fatigue, exactly where we want to be as staff, players etc, anyone moaning about playing Man U and then Liverpool need a reality check. Best place to be. And we have a real chance in the game and back ourselves to do so. I'm sure with the signings/squad, teams will see we can hurt them.

Liverpool similar to Bournemouth and Vallecano, Ireola's previous team. They get better at his style as they go along.

Praise for Fatawu, works hard, has great moments, still help him with things, his consistency. Will be a great test at the weekend for him. Really pleased with him, but ceiling is high with him. Can't see why he can't be the right up there numbers-wise with the best wingers.

Isak, tough season for him last year. Can see why he's one of the best players in his position in the world. No wonder he's number nine for Liverpool. But we don't focus on individuals or stopping individuals, we set up to stop Liverpool as a team and focus on ourselves.

No loss of confidence despite losses. We separate the games clearly. Questions asked against Liverpool different to those against Man U. We debrief, then it's gone, learn and then move on to the next one. Post-Liverpool, we move onto Palace. Focus on individual games. Fans will be good at that, regardless of form etc, every time we're at Portman Road, there will be a wall of noise behind us, which will be important. Everyone should be really excited about tomorrow. A lot of work has gone on to getting the club to this level.

Was always confident Flemming would get done, on the day, the day before. Once they get to that point I was confident we would get him. Brings thing, physical attributes. Leads well. Type of person we're recruiting is important. Did tactical stuff today, even boys not involved were excellent. Good togetherness.

Really pleased the window is closed, pleased we did so much good work. But enough to do to get the team in shape. Pleased that the window over until January.

Thankful to Liverpool to get chance as the U21s coach, Alex Inglethorpe brought me in. Met Neil Critchley and Tim Jenkins there. Looking forward to catching up with familiar faces.

No complaints that we didn't get someone in the window. Versatility there. We have good quality, experience, more than happy with what we've got.

If we can get enough moments, sure Flemming can get the goals he did last year.

Florentino fine, Azor training, Taylor a little way off, Palmer shoulder issue. Bit more depth on Emersonn. Meeting Jason Schechterle today or tomorrow, looking forward to it.

Have to use your own strengths, consideration who you're playing, have looked at lots of possibilities this week against Liverpool's physical centre-halves. False nines, two number nines.
That's it.

Bit more depth on Emerson ?
Earlier it was said he's not injured so what depth are they talking about, learning evolving fitting in?

Think he said he's trained all week whereas there was still a question mark a week ago.
