In terms of right now, Diop should be back up to O'Shea, and Kipre back up to Greaves. Diop may well come good, as it's very, very early days, but our best pairing is Greaves and O'Shea. |

I think Diop will come good, but at the moment the CB organisation isn't working. We have staggered defensive lines far too frequently in the last two games, so I feel that the established partnership of O'Shea and Greaves will have a better understanding at the moment. Better communication, better organisation.
Maybe Diop's crazy 'tackle' that led to the Sunderland goal is clouding my judgement a bit, but my overall impression so far is that Diop has been out of sync more so than Greaves (who admittedly lost his man last night).
I want O'Shea back in the middle organising the defence and the two DMs, and I think Greaves is the best partner for him at the moment. |  |
