One upside is a few of ours might be playing to get themselves into the mix. Let’s be honest right back and centre half, and to a lesser extent goalkeeper positions are potentially up for grabs. I’m particularly interested in seeing Furlong do well as we just need some one to play there who can do a good job of it and get O’Shea back in the middle.

No...but for us, that is a ridiculous second string.

It is on one level definitely. But what it does is underline the ridiculous disparity between PL clubs ,let alibe PL and Championship clubs.... how the hell has the game come to this?

The forum post is about second string - didn't really see the need to flesh out the full sub allocation with first XI or academy names, but there you go.
